Yemen Haraz
Sheba Coffee is a family consisting of small, family-run farms, some of which have land sizes smaller than 100 square meters. This ensures that all the cherries are carefully and attentively selected.
Haraz Collective is a coffee that grows in the Haraz region, located on the outskirts of Sana'a. Coffee production in this region is relatively low but of high quality. The total harvest of some farms does not exceed 1.5 tons of coffee. However, in this particular case, yield is not everything. The harvesting season in this region is always among the last in Yemen because the cherries require much more time to reach optimal ripeness. Haraz is often referred to as "The land above the clouds" due to its extraordinary altitude.
Located approximately 150 km inland from the main Red Sea port of Al-Hudaydah, Haraz is situated within the Sarat mountain range, home to the highest mountain in the peninsula, Jabal An-Nabi Shu'ayb.
