Java Temanggung Fine Robusta

In the fertile volcanic lands of Temanggung, on the island of Java, an elite Robusta is born: the Temanggung Fine Robusta. This coffee represents the pinnacle of Robusta quality, undergoing a meticulous selection process and a Fully Washed processing method, which sets it apart from traditional Robustas and brings it closer to the refinement of an Arabica.

Thanks to altitudes ranging between 500 and 900 meters, a tropical climate, and mineral-rich soils, the Fine Robusta from Temanggung develops greater aromatic complexity and a more pronounced natural sweetness, resulting in a cup profile that is truly unique for its category.

After selective handpicking, only the ripest cherries are pulped within a few hours, leaving the beans coated in their sweet mucilage. This is followed by a controlled fermentation in water tanks for 12-36 hours, which enhances the purity of the aromatic profile and refines the structure of the coffee. The beans are then carefully washed to remove any remaining pulp and slowly sun-dried on raised beds, preserving their quality until they reach the optimal moisture level.

This process results in a Fine Robusta of extraordinary cleanliness, with superior organoleptic characteristics compared to standard Robustas.
